El Producto Interno Bruto (PIB) es un concepto básico dentro de la teoría y política económica, clave para el manejo de la economía y la toma de decisiones individual y colectiva. Sin embargo, y a pesar de la dificultad e importancia del tema, este no es comúnmente presentado de una forma pedagógicamente adecuada que permita la comprensión de los flujos económicos y el cómo estos definen al PIB. En este contexto, es necesario introducir el PIB a partir de un OA dirigido de forma transversal a todos los estudiantes de Macroeconomía de cualquier carrera e institución de educación superior del país, sea esta Economía, Sociología, Antropología, Ciencias contables y administrativas, entre otras. Por tanto, el OA propuesto pretende ser educativo y generativo (atómico/granular), pero también interoperable, accesible, y reutilizable en varias ramas y entornos de aprendizaje.
